● Note:
Each product package includes one plug and six support legs - four legs for fixing the transformer onto a bottom board and two legs for fixing it onto a primary wire.
² Installation instruction:
● Mounted on bottom board:
Take four support legs without riveted nut (included in package along with the product), insert them into the sockets as shown in the right figure. When the legs are inserted to the end, the center distance between the mounting holes is 42.5×52. The diameter of the mounting hole for the support leg is Φ 5.0, and then use M4 screw to fix the current transformer on the bottom board.
● Mounted on primary wire:
Take two support legs with M4 riveted nut (included in package along with the product) and insert them into the sockets as shown in the right figure. When the legs are inserted to the end, the center distance between the riveted nuts is 42.5. Drill a blind hole at proper position on the wire, and then fix the current transformer on the primary wire with M4 screws.
7.Typical Application and Parameters:
The parameters in this application as shown in the figure are listed in table below.
Model | Rated Input Current | Rated Output Current | Rated Sample Resistor RL | Rated Sample Voltage | Phase Shift | Non Linearity | Linear Range | Withstand Voltage |
TA4566-1 | 100A | 0.1A | 30Ω | 3V | ≤30’ | ≤0.5% | 5 times of the rated value | ≥6KV |
TA4566-2 | 200A | 0.1A | 60Ω | 6V | ≤30’
TA4566-3 | 300A | 0.1A | 90Ω | 9V | ≤25’
TA4566-4 | 400A | 0.1A | 120Ω | 12V | ≤25’ | ≤0.5% | 3 times of the rated value | ≥6KV |
TA4566-5 | 500A | 0.1A | 150Ω | 15V | ≤20’
TA4566-6 | 600A | 0.1A | 180Ω | 18V | ≤20’ |
● Notes:
a. In practical applications, it is recommended to use a sampling resistor that is smaller than or equal to the rated value given in the table above, as this can help to improve the non-linearity and phase shift of the device.
b. If the required current ratio is not listed in the table above, we can provide custom-made options to meet specific needs.
8.Attention:
① Connect the primary winding of the current transformer in series with the measured current loop, and operate the secondary winding in near short-circuit mode.
② Do not allow the secondary winding of the current transformer to be open-circuited and do not install any fuse in the secondary circuit.
